The college was started in the year 2010 with a view to promote Higher Education among the rural village girls. Nearly 82 rural villages are benefitted.
The college is affiliated to MANONMANIAM SUNDARANAR UNIVERSITY.

National Voters Day

National Voters Day was organized on 25.01.2016 to create awareness among girl students of our college. Mr.S.Prince of Wales, Sub Inspector of police addressed the students.

Freshers Day

The college celebrated the orientation and Freshers Day for the Academic year 2016 – 2017on 2016 - 2017. Nearly 175 parents and almost all the new entrants of the first years of the UG courses attended the program. The principal welcome the gatherings, Mrs. Saratha H.O.D of Tamil Department, explained, the History of the college, our course structure and the rules and regulations of the college. A healthy discussion over the bus routes was carried out between the parents and the staff and on behalf, the Management, it was assured that action will be taken to send the buses as per the requirements. Miss.G.Maheshwari Department of commerce, delivered the vote of thanks.

Eye Donation - An Awarness program on Eye donation was conducted in the college on 29.1.15.                                         

Sports Day - On 10.4.16 the Ninth Sports day of college was celebrated.                         

Women’s Day - The college celebrated the Woman’s day on 10.3.14. The students here addressed by Dr. PremalathaGovt.Hospital.Sivakasi.                         

Tamil IllakkeyaManraVizha - was celebrated on 12.2.15 by the department of Tamil.                         

College day - The Seventh College day of our college was celebrated on 29.4.13 Thiru.MinisterSenthilBalajipresided the function and distributed the prizes.
